Having trouble popping your hood?
This Dorman hood latch release cable is the fix.
It's designed for Chevy trucks: 1995-1999 1500, 1995-2000 2500, and the 3500 models.
Important note from the seller: this cable will NOT fit the new style Silverado front end that started in 2000.
So make sure you've got the classic front end.
It's a new other condition part with manufacturer part number 912-014 and interchange 15769412.
Installation is straightforward, and it mounts on the left side.
