Want to add a second hard drive to your Dell Latitude E6440, E6540, or Precision M2800?
This caddy is exactly what you need.
It lets you install a standard 2.5-inch SATA drive (SSD or HDD) into the optical drive bay, giving you extra storage or a super-fast boot drive.
The caddy supports SATA I, II, and III interfaces.
It comes with the correct bezel panel cover to match your laptop, so it looks like it belongs there.
Please note, this is just the caddy and bezel—it does not include the drive latch mechanism, so you’ll need to keep that from your existing DVD drive or order it separately.
